Murex partnered with Pendragon
Pendragon Animal Health Clinic in partnership with Murex Diagnostics Products Specialist held its first Pendragon’s Inter-University Vet Internship Competition at Baguio State University last September 10-11, 2018.
Lead by Dra. Mayem Yao, Pendragon Vet organized this two days competition to further expose the student interns in the veterinary practice by writing case studies and presenting it to the judges. The participants of this competition are student interns from different parts of the Philippines who have practiced their internship at Pendragon Vet in Quezon City.
Along with Pendragons objective, Murex Diagnostics brought its different veterinary machines to show the students the latest technologies used when it comes to veterinary practice. Among these machines are Orphee Mythic 18, a hematology analyzer, Arkray Spotchem EZ, a dry chemistry analyzer and Arkray Pocketchem UA, a compact urine analyzer.
After a thorough deliberation, Emily Hurna from Aklan State University won the best case category. She brought home with her a new hematology analyzer. On the other hand, Jeanette Gahid from Baguio State University was awarded as the best case presenter. She won a trip to Soi Dog in Phuket, Thailand.
